How many of you have ever given it a thought that health should be made a compulsory subject?  Have it ever occurred to you that health is an important subject too just like language and religion is in a curriculum? Well in my opinion many of you have given it a thought and for all of you there who have such concerns, this article is for all you guys.

There are many things that schools are doing in regard to health and related issues but many students found these acts not that satisfactory. They think that these efforts that are taken by school managements are not enough and that they need to put in more efforts in this regard.

A recent survey was conducted in India, in which many students were reported to have said that they were not satisfied with the Health education that was given to them by schools. They demanded more proper Health education in terms of education. Students said that they require proper health education and that too not just in terms of lectures but also practical so that the learning can be made more interesting.

Until now no solid steps have been taken by the schools to include health management as the part of the overall course as they don’t feel that this subject deserves to be treated separately. Many schools give their responses saying that they do care about the health of students and so that is the reason that they have courses like physical education , social sciences and sciences education. The management of these schools is of the opinion that they are doing enough in the name of health education.

The conclusion is that we need to be more serious towards education, practical is really important when it comes to health education. That is the reason that you can buy a college degree in any subject but for courses like nursing you require a practical.

There are different modes of online educational degrees in health but this subject requires more emphasis and attention. There are different life experience degrees available too but again the issue is that health related education require more practical stuff that is not possible though online.

In today’s age need is to focus on the career that are not taken care of and yet they are the promising ones for our economy in the near future, such as we need more institutes where health management is taught, where focus is more on career like brand management jobs in Karachi , more in content management, teaching online and etc.

Jobs in brand management are gaining height and are in demand now days as many new marketing companies are coming up and now many multinationals are marketing focused than ever. All these factors should be kept in mind and so new resources should be added to the economy likewise.

I was going through one of my articles early morning when I felt the need that I should write on this topic. I felt that there was a need to write on this topic as it is a hot topic in the employment industry of our country. Pakistan is facing a lot of challenges and among them unemployment is a very crucial factor as it then as its trickledown effect on the overall economic growth, currency’s depreciation, trade deficit and many such economical factors.

In this post I have decided to write specifically on women of Pakistan, their role in the work force, their percentage in working economy and their share. The post will deal with the part that Pakistani women plays in making the economy grow and to what extent they serve as a burning engine for the country.

Let’s get started with our analysis. With the cultural, traditional and other shackles of our society it is no surprise that women participation has been limited and not that impressive in our male dominated society. In society such as ours, male is given more preference and so the role of man in economy and is seen more than his counterpart. The research that was conducted before I started writing on this topic revealed that women are tend to be suffering more from the gender discrimination at work place than any other issue. This issue is again borne from the backward thinking and the restricted thinking of our society that want to see women only in the role of daughter, mother and wife. They cannot simply accept women working equally and in some cases exceptionally good than male and as a result we see very less contribution from women in highly paid sectors.

Rising unemployment, increasing inflation rates and much more has forced many households to create more than one bread earner and so this pushes many women in working field. But due to the behavior society holds towards them, they are forced to take low paid jobs like content development jobs in Karachi or other metropolitan and work low profile and are deprived of deserving jobs despite of the fact that they are capable of much better jobs.

Other aspect of looking at this issue is to split the jobs pool into government and private sector. When we talk about the Government sector, there exist a fix number, a quota that is allocated to the women of our country. They are restricted by number and thus are forced to limit their productivity in Government sectors. Though private sector has changed the figures in favor of females during past few years such as more jobs in education related field but the mind set remains the same and so no significant change is observed. I f country is to grow then the work force needs to be comprise of both men and women and the proportion should be fair!
